    Will this work it my old Margaritaville mixer. I don't want to use my mr. coffee grinder and find dubbing in my beans. What settings do you suggest to get the right consistancey...pulp? Purée ? Liquify?
    We are the music-makers,
    And we are the dreamers of dreams,
    Wandering by lone sea-breakers
    And sitting by desolate streams;
    World losers and world forsakers,
    On whom the pale moon gleams.

      Chop is the correct setting. I can't get past the fact that I missed Grand Master Flash.

        I used that method when I was going to tie up a bunch of flies for a trip the next day and realized at 10pm that I didn't have any dubbing. Ran to WalMart and picked up a cheapo coffee grinder and a few different skeins of yarn. Cut the yarn up into about 1/4" pieces and mixed colors together to get the color I wanted. Doesn't have the flash of the synthetic stuff and doesn't stick to the thread very well, but it saved me in a pinch.

          You know that stuff growing your chin look pretty spiky, of course, you might need to dye it lots of white in it.

            I use the white ones for ribbing my zebra midges.
