  • Hackle Pliers

    Stepped on an old bobber in the garage and saw the plastic thing inside so I decided to make a plunger style hackle pliers. I have some hackle pliers but they're not plunger style. Dont really use hackle pliers for feathers but I hate securing lead to hooks and these plunger style make it so much easier:

    I was going to to just stick the plastic piece in a a piece of cork, but then I realize there is a little spring inside and the cork would restrict the movement. Luckily the plastic piece fit perfectly into my super expensive half hitch tool. I really just started using the half-hitch tool. They're a saver on small down eye dries.

    We are the music-makers,
    And we are the dreamers of dreams,
    Wandering by lone sea-breakers
    And sitting by desolate streams;
    World losers and world forsakers,
    On whom the pale moon gleams.

          Those are my advent chocolates. Tomorrow is our Christmas. Santa (Father Frost) ate all the reindeer so he has super powers to make sure everything get where it needs to go on time. He is stern but fair. Is Mrs. Claus a little to young? Perhaps. But hey..she needed a green card.
