  • Wading PFDs

Iím looking at trying Buford Dam soon. What PFDs do you guys wear for wading. Would prefer an inflatable, but donít want it blowing up on me if I step in a deep hole. Can you convert an auto/manual into a straight up manual?

I went to Wally World and found a very affordable PFD designed for fishing. Very comfortable and has lots of pockets for fishing stuff. Works for me!

BPS PFD. Simple, has pockets needed for carrying fly boxes, etc.

I've got one of those belt inflatable kinds: https://www.amazon.com/M-16-Manual-I...words=pfd+belt

Spent too much and I am not even sure it'll work, because I've never field tested it... Shoot, I've never even not-field tested it. I think a real vest with some pockets is the best bet.

Basspro pfd here as well also if your fishing dam don't forget a wading staff and studs for boots, it's super slick wading up there if you've never been.
