  • Wader Adjustment

Found a really nice pair of waders that are perfect fit in the boot and everything else. The one problem is they're riding a little too high in my crotch. I got my boys going down one pant leg, the other one going down the other...I even found a boy I didn't know about. Some moose knuckle action if you will.

Anyways heres my solutions??: Go down a few inches shorteron the inseam. This is the opposite of what I would do with pants, but since waders have booties instead of leg holes I'm reversing the adjustment technique. I hope it works.

Forgot to explain the rest: They only had that one size in the store, and these will soon be replaced by a newer model, I called around the shops and most already had the newer model and the few that where left from the older where not even close in size. So I will be ordering them online.

    Possibles

    Possible Solutions:

    - Don't buy women's waders
    - Buy an athletic supporter to keep the boys happy
    - Wet wade
    - Lengthen your suspenders.

I bought a pair of Orvis light weight travel waders and had the same situation. So I made the suspenders as long as they would go and it took care of the problem. Now if I could just figure out how to do this with my tutu. If I could maybe they would allow me back in ballet class ..............

The old trick I was taught was to see if you can step up and put your foot in a chair. If not you need more freedom.

It was actually Provo, I don't know why I thought it was boulder. The shop is trout bum 2. Although they are all out of the "old" G3s now. Some of the more tailored sizes like your XXLs and the Ss where selling for $200-220 brand new. Paid a little over $300 for LKs but still a good deal. Probably would've found something better priced closer to X-mas but even some of the bigger stores, do not have certain sizes in stock and this was the last pair in that store.

              Provo?

I'm a Colorado boy and our only reason to go into
Utah is to beat on Utes, Cougars and Aggies!

Trout Bum 2 is in Park City unless they opened another store recently. They do guide on the Middle and Lower Provo rivers though.

Yup you're right...he must've said Provo river and green river. Shows how much I pay attention to detail and propbably why I need new waders.
