    DNR is all over it. Should we be concerned??? Absolutely. Apex predator with no natural enemies. If you catch one, kill it and report it to DNR immediately. DO NOT THROW IT BACK!!!

    A friend sent me these a while back asking if I knew what kind of fish it was. I thought maybe a bowfin but now wondering if it is a snakehead. Thoughts?

      This is the link to a posting a few years back by a guy who lives up in Chatsworth. He says he catches snakeheads over around Rome.

        May want to contact DNR and send those to Hunter Roop. Did your friend say what Creek this was in?

          Those pics look like a chain pickerel to me, but it's hard to tell. Dorsal fin looks too short to be a snakehead.
