Azalea boat launch to Bull Sluice Lake

Hey all,
I am planning on taking my canoe with a trolling motor from this boat launch to the mud flats on Bull Sluice Lake for some carp fishing. Does anyone know how far this is? It looks like ~3 miles as best as I can tell.

I just got this trolling motor from a buddy so I am a little worried about getting stuck downstream but I do not see any better boat ramps. The canoe is close to 100 lbs before the motor and 60 lb battery so I am a little apprehensive about putting in at Overlook Park. I guess my back up plan is to uber back to the car and take out there if I get stuck downstream.

Any advise on distance, if this is a terrible idea, or where to get in to the golden ghosts? Thanks!

There is another access park just past Chattahoochie Outdoor center on the left
Easy launch.That is where I usually put in. Can't remember name .

it's a 2 1/2 mile run maybe a tad more. River is going to be dirty thru at least Saturday due to rain...

Get there early. There are not a lot of parking spaces there. It's often full up on the weekends.
