  • PFD?

I'm planning on making my first trip to the dam in the next few weeks. Any advice on which PFD to buy since I'm in the market?

I use an inflatable, I have both a belt and a shoulder style, I use the shoulder style as I don't have to pull it over my head. not as comfortable as a belt, but its already positioned if I need it

I donít want a vest with pockets...would this PFD be adequate? I never wade higher than my waist.

That one is fine. Mine is similar. Any USCG-approved Type-III PFD will meet the requirement. Just a matter of comfort and price as far as I am concerned.
