  • Teaching our young "the art of learning to fly-fishing"

Here's a twelve year old learning to fly-fish instead of using bait. And his efforts pay off enormous with this nice male rainbow caught on a wild stream here in North Georgia.

Yup, getting youth into fly fishing is a fantastic thing! Congrats to the angler on the impressive catch!

NICE! That ain't enny little-bitty trout neither! Really nice fish! Now you have yer work cut out fer you if you ever want to get him to go bass fishin' after that.

That pitcher needs to be included 'mongst all those others that play in the slideshow on the NGTO homepage!
If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.
