    If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.

        • ...ok...

          Shelley's "Ozymandias"

          I met a traveller from an antique land
          Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
          Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
          Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
          And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
          Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
          Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
          The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
          And on the pedestal these words appear:
          'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
          Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
          Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
          Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
          The lone and level sands stretch far away.

          ...are we there, yet?

          Blessings!

          • ...OR...

            Falstaff:
            My king! my Jove! I speak to thee, my heart!

            Henry V. :
            I know thee not, old man. Fall to thy prayers.
            How ill white hairs become a fool and jester!
            I have long dreamt of such a kind of man,
            So surfeit-swell'd, so old, and so profane;
            But being awak'd, I do despise my dream.
            Make less thy body hence, and more thy grace;
            Leave gormandizing; know the grave doth gape
            For thee thrice wider than for other men—
            Reply not to me with a fool-born jest;
            Presume not that I am the thing I was,
            For God doth know, so shall the world perceive,
            That I have turn'd away my former self;
            So will I those that kept me company.
            When thou dost hear I am as I have been,
            Approach me, and thou shalt be as thou wast,
            The tutor and the feeder of my riots.
            Till then I banish thee, on pain of death,
            As I have done the rest of my misleaders,
            Not to come near our person by ten mile.
            For competence of life I will allow you,
            That lack of means enforce you not to evils;
            And, as we hear you do reform yourselves,
            We will, according to your strengths and qualities,
            Give you advancement. Be it your charge, my lord,
            To see perform'd the tenour of our word.

            Blessings!

            Jimmy

                  No, but it was red, and red is good.

                      A German man walks up to the immigration desk at Warsaw airport. The immigration officer asks: “Occupation?”
                      The German replies: “No, just a holiday.”

                                Buckman, the last fish I caught on a worm was a sucker. She reminded me of your mom for some reason?! I will fish bait when appropriate. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
                                I learned to fish bait from Buckman. He only ever fishes a splitshot, and a worm. He is a NE GA local, and has to feed his family. He once told me his EBT card was denied at the gas station when he was trying to buy zig zags and lottery tickets and worms and dip, so he sought my help to catch enough brook trout to feed his family for the next year. I caught 38 specks that day which he vacuumed sealed and froze, and he did manage a good 6 or 7 brookies that day also.
                                I was glad to be able to help feed a family in need. Lord knows brook trout are the only thing that can sustain NE GA locals through the harsh winter's. Charity feels good.
