He was one of the old school wresting greats!

PS: kind of surprised the guy made it to 69 as hard as he lived.

        RIP Dusty,`

Spent an afternoon drinking beer w/ the "American Dream". For all the "Rassling Hype" this was a good fellow. TRW

          What's Next?

Well, now he can go "wrassle" with the likes of Gorgeous George, Handsome Johnny Baron, and a host of others.

            The American Dream has Died

I met him at a gate on C concourse in the ATL airport many years ago. Very funny guy and down-to-earth. I was a fan.

I believe he lived in East Cobb early in his career....I guess to be near the Turner studios.

                Say it ain't so!

                A great American has died....

On a side note, my brother-in-law in St. Simons played golf with him several years ago. Said he didn't have much of a short game, but could absolutely knock the stuffing out of the ball.

He was my favorite wrestler of all time. I grew up watching Dusty on Championship Wrestling of Florida with Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt as the announcers. How sad today is.

A barbed wire match.......... classic! The bull rope matches and Texas death matches were great also.

Grew up in Florida watching the American Dream, Ric Flair, Andre the Giant and the rest. RIP American Dream, he provided a great deal of boyhood entertainment and emulators.
