  • Happy Anniversary to Me

34 years. My bride puts flesh and bone on that little line "in sickness and in health."

Life long faithful commitment is a seemingly rare things these days, congrats.

PS: better keep her happy as no one else will have you at this point.

Congratulations to the two of y'all! Now, go forth and make it another 34!
If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.

Well done folks. Keep it going!

And ...yeah...that "sickness and in health" bit really comes into play these days. Mostly the sickness! (Between us both over the last four years - two hip replacements, one knee surgery, one jaw surgery, one messed-up Achilles tendon, one set of foot stress fractures...the list goes on.)

Yes, our trade in value does tend to diminish over a long period of time unless we amass a fortune, which I have failed to do, at least if you are talking money.

Congrats, to you and your better half, 34 years isn't a record, but it's a darn good start on a record.
