    SAVE GA's HEMLOCKS
    Volunteers Needed
    August 24th





    AUGUST 24 Hemlock treatment just north of Vogel State Park in Union County. We will carpool from the Roses Parking lot at 7:45 AM. Project completion is 3:30 PM. (I have to come back after lunch returning NLT 1:30 PM) . If you want to learn first hand how to save these important and beautiful trees, join in! You will be working with teams that are trained and dedicated. What to bring: your own bag lunch, water bottle, hiking stick and small pack to carry items. Snacks and extra bottled water will be provided. Yellow Jackets are getting active, so bring EpiPen if you are allergic. Wear sturdy hiking shoes, long sleeve shirts, long pants and work gloves.
