  • How to get the Quote feature to work correctly

    I must be challenged - I can't ever seem to get a Quote working correctly. Anyone care to enlighten me??? Thanks in advance!

    Sure. This is how you do it.

      Just punch the QUOTE Icon in the lower right of the post you want to copy. The software should then automatically open a new post with the quoted text at the top.

      You can also use the QUOTE function to insert text. It's the icon that looks like a cartoon text balloon. Or just enter the code manually (I've left off the "e" in the function "quote" so you can how the tags work):

      [quot]Text goes here[/quot]

      "Groping for trouts in a peculiar river."

          When we upgrade to the newer version of VBulletin it will be more user friendly.

            It doesn't work for me on occasion. I started to mention it to the IT folks here at NGTO but quickly surmised that other than Remoh......there is seldom anything here that is worth quoting.
