  • Time Code Wrong

I'm wondering why the time is so off when I post something. For example I posted today at a little after 6:00 GMT (8:00 EST) but on my computer it says I posted it at around 1:00.
Then Peter said, "I'm going fishing." The disciples replied, we're going too, and they got in the boat..." John 21:3a

And now, I pray thee, take thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt me venison. Genesis 27:3

I see the crackheads were not very successful.

We submitted a "ticket". Is the proper response to wait patiently or be the squeaky wheel?

In the meantime for the ADD/OCD crowd, simply add 5:19 to the time stamp of each post.

        posted at 10:35am.

If this is bothering you A LOT like me, a work around is to go to "User CP" (in the upper left corner of the screen, go to "Edit Options" and set your time zone back 7 places. If you're in Eastern Time Zone, switch it to GMT, Western Europe and it will get it pretty close.

The site crashed for a few hours about a month ago. This occurred with our host servers. Since we have been back up and running the time stamp has been off by about five hours and 19 minutes. There's nothing we can do on our end to correct it. We have requested that our host address it but we'll just have to wait it out until they make the correction. We're not the only site affected by this glitch right now.
If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.

              Time code should be fixed

You may have been booted off the board when it happened, my apologizes.

I am officially upgrading Gatorbyte from "fly in my ointment" to "thorn in my side". If he happens to elevate himself to "pain in my a$$" I'm gonna blame it on RScott.

                        Yep.

posted at 10:38pm when it is actually 4:38pm. As my sometimer's disease has kicked it, can somebody remind me how I did this previously? I can't even find a "time stamp".

In the words of Roseanne Roseannadanna, "Never Mind!" Found it under "edit options" this time. I swear it wasn't there earlier.

All is right with the world now.
