Thanks to all, especially the BOD, for putting on a great spring fling. My first and definitely something I'll be attending again in the future. Appreciate ngto and all it does for our river!

      Fling

Fling was great! Great seminars!! Steve Hudson was great as usual in the fly typing clinic.

Thanks to all who worked to set it up and pull it off.

My first Fling. Got to see RScott, baldea, 2Fly, GoutUnlimited, Trout8myfly, SwampAngel,Steve Hudson, and more 'fake names' than my small Indiana brain can remember. What a GREAT event. Caught a fish, leaned alot and had a hot dog. How could it be any better? (Name tags for everyone, and free beer.) Other than that, an experience I will always remember. Thanks NGTO!

Hope you guys had a great time today.

Fishinbub tells me several people asked how I'm doing, and I'm very grateful. Hope to do some fishing and hook up with some of you guys soon.

Thanks for the jambalaya! And congrat's on the Iron Skillet Award! (Fishinpreacher's Roosevelt Beans are a tough item to beat. I think you're only the second person to ever pull that off.)

It was good to see you and trade some Cajun stories.
If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.

Got one of the greatest gifts I've ever gotten from a funny talkin' NGTOer...Just wanted to let you know I already found the perfect place for it. It will keep my neighbors at bay and shine a warm never fading hue on my face in the morning:

                Highlights:

-Meeting our newer members...Bboyd and Phil

                -Jambalaya

-Steve Hudson's leader lowdown...thanks for elaborating on furled leader..found and easier way to do it...had been doing it wrong this whole time.

                -Talked to Preach about bamboo

-Alex's Browniez presentation was my favorite...I was impressed how articulate he was . Phil nice meeting you too and helping elaborate.

-I was speaking with 2fly about his leader config. Rscott was next to him. He smacked Pat and the shoulder and he knew to get out the flask..

I got some hatchery videos I'll try to post later for anyone who hasn't been. Thanks again everyone for a spectacular fling.

                  I echo this sentiment.
                  Great event
Great putting faces with names, even though I'm awful at face recognition.
Got to chat with windknot, rscott and 2 fly, among others.

Отлично, товарищ! Это прекрасно в твоем окне. Он не видел свет дня в течение 25 лет. Флаг уже дома.

Great write up on the fling. It was really good to see you today!
