Good morning brothers and sisters. GOD IS GOOD!

"Present yourself a living sacrifice. This is your reasonable act of worship."
A sacrifice had to die to be acceptable before God. And God tells us to be a living sacrifice in order to be acceptable to Him. We do this by dieing to self, being crucified with Christ, and alive in Christ Jesus.
"I am crucified with Christ, so I no longer live. Jesus Christ is alive in me!"
And not only that, God says this is a reasonable request. This is our reasonable act of worship!
    Worship Him today
    Worship Him openly
    Worship Him freely

Matthew 7:7-11, "“Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Is there anyone among you who, if your child asks for bread, will give a stone? Or if the child asks for a fish, will give a snake? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"

Let's be teachers and encouragers in the faith. Let's share willingly and without pretense or hype. Let's be kind and generous. Let's show the world the way to Jesus Christ.

Mudpuppy and the other 20+ Saints who gather here in the Name of Christ: I like the idea of sharing prayer concerns and joys in addition to our walk with Christ. How about if we post our prayer concerns and joys here using first names or pseudonyms (for God will know of whom we speak) and if more directed prayer is needed we can join together on a three way call or conference call and connect one another...let me know what you think. This is a Christ-moment. Thank you for the inspiration mudpuppy.

I think Muddpuppy has the right idea. We as Christians should try and reach the unsaved and I am sure there are quite a few out there fly fishing.

And today this from James 3:1, "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness."

Often we get in a hurry to share what we know or even know little about. Those who listen take our teaching and use it - perhaps it works perfectly...then maybe it won't. We are prone to mistakes as humans and we can be forgiven. We should use discretion and careful study before launching into a teaching moment. I wonder if sometimes as teachers if we aren't the ones being taught. Go forward into this day in the strong Name of Jesus.
