The Upper 'Hooch (above Lac du Lanier, about three or four miles nawth of Clark's Bridge) is skinny and heavily mined with stumps! Prolly not a good idear to run this section 'til we get some significant rain to refill the depleted lake. The ramp at Lula is closed due to low water, and it's hard to find a channel deeper then a foot-and-a-half in sev'ral bends! However, we are still lookin' at conducting fleet maneuvers somewhere on Saturday, the 22nd of September. Shoot enny idears you may have for a location this way!

Swamp Angel and new NGTO member, thelearner, will be meeting up on the 'Hooch at Abbott's Bridge this Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 AM. Any other captains who wish to join us in this partial fleet exercise are welcome to join us.

New date set for the next assault on the upper 'Hooch. Plan on meeting up at the Clarks Bridge Ramp by the Olympic Rowing Center north of Gainesville (Georgia, not Florida) on the 28th of April. Looking forward to seeing the fleet captains and new additions to the fleet!
