Got the tickets today and, thank you very much.

I notice that you live on Betty Creek Rd. Someone at the Rendevous this year told me that a tretch of the creek is now a trophy stream. Ho you have any details or is this just a rumor? Also, I am considering buy a inexpensive cabin in Rabun, Habersham, Union or Towns counties. If you know of one please let me know.

    Thanks again.

In that most American saying, "the check is in the mail" for 3 tickets to the raffle.

Thanks T23. My arm is almost mended. I still need some physical therapy. I cannot stretch it completely out. I do have good function. I was chef-fing at the local seafood restaurant before I contracted Vibrio. We just got settled in our new place. Got my stuff out of storage this week. We have some wonderful fresh seafood down here. I guess I would be considered a pescatarian now. Eat a little poultry sometimes.

thanks for the heads up on Unicoi this weekend, planning on going up Friday after lunch , will give Smith creek a try , I just reserved one of the squirrel nest right there at the park, should be easy camping since I am use to hiking the AT with son and sleeping in a Eno hammock. I assume I just access the creek from park or is there a better place, I have been been trying a hopper with a drop nymph, drop wooly bugger at toccoa with no luck, I have no weight on the droppers and don't know if that is problem and if I need to go deeper, but when I add weight to tippet trying to throw gets dicey. any suggestions on fly choice for smith? Thanks again for letting me know about this weekend I am really looking forward to it.
