Hey man nice fish! I've been going to Edisto for about 10yrs now with my wife's family and have caught plenty of little sharks, stingrays, and whiting from the surf and last year I brought my 14' jon with 15hp down and put in at steamboat and live oak and caught a couple of almost legal flounder on a spoon. This year I'm bringing the 9wt and would love to get on a red. I have intermediate sink line on my rod...will that work? Where are some flats in that area? Any help is greatly appreciated! I love the low country...isn't Edisto just awesome! I'll be down June 22 - 29.

flyg, I posted a while back about edisto island fly fishing and some needed advice and saw that you posted on it and were a permanent resident down there now. I was wondering if you had any more advice with fishing up there now that you've been here a little longer. I am here now and have tried fishing in some inlets but have not had much success. I was playing to go out in a kayak to some of the creeks and what not soon. Advice would be much appreciated.
