WF-Im fairly new to fly fishing I guess you could say. I started off when I was 15 when my father bought me a fly rod and I was hooked since I caught my first trout. Since I'am a little older now I have more time to go to the Dam when my always changing schedule lets me. I always fish at the Dam and rarely go anywhere else due to it being so close. If you are at the Dam sometime please let me know, I would really like to know the Ins and Outs of advancing my knowledge in fly fishing. I have really never had anyone show me how to fly fish, kind of learned as I went time after time and learned from the mistakes. I think the biggest down fall for me right now is matching the hatch. Sometimes I get out there and they bit all the time. Other times, I dont catch but one. If you are at the Dam in the next two weeks please let me know, I usually go in the mornings due to my SGT. at work letting me make my own schedule for the time being before I have to deal with some surgery in the next two weeks that will out me out of the game for about 4-6 weeks. I would greatly appreaciate any help you can provide on the river. Thanks again.

Hey Kurt,
I wish that were me. I haven't been out since that time we spoke at the dam. I plan to make it out there tomorrow, however; if the weather allows, that is. How did you do yesterday? I gladly accept the friend request and I'm looking forward to seeing you on the water.

Moe - I was fishing in the rain at Buford Dam yesterday and saw someone downstream of me who had a very nice casting stroke which made me think it might be you. They were closer down towards the island while I was upstream of the creek inlet so it was too far to confirm the sighting. Anyway, I thought I would send a friend request since I haven't done this before and I was beginning to feel a little lonely. Hope to see you on the water again.
