Thanks for the invite,,, my name is Tim by the way,,, i am currently stationed in Columbus Ga on Ft Benning,,, the sad part is my gear is with my dad in NC but hoping to get my gear this weekend,,, how is the BWO hatch in GA,,, i know when i was in Ky the BWO on Otter Crk was AWESOME,,, the best day up there was when the snow was coming down hard and not to mention the the temp was around 28degrees,,, but sorry if i ramble,,, i love to fish,,, its a strong passion of mine,,, but take care and chat to ya soon,,,

Doug Hall who works at Highland Hardware organizing their wood working classes might have time, and he teaches the most affordable rod making classes in the US at a folk art school in NC might do it for you. He has over 10+ years experience making rods. He might know someone in your area. You could also talk to the "bible" writer in Kentucky who authored the book on restoring and repairing bamboo fly rods, probably the best known book for restorations. I think he posts on Clarks as Paducah Mike, his name is Mike Sinclair and he is a great person. If you want his information I can dig a little and find it for you.
