    hey im also a student, at georgia tech, just moved from ohio and just started getting back into the fly fishing game. i live right on the river down from powers ferry island and would also be looking for other beginner/intermediate guys to throw a line out with.

    Hows it going. Any in depth question feel free to send to me. Drag free drifts and nymphing are must learns to catch fish. Where are you located? I am south of the airport but make my way "up" quite often. Next time I am "up" north I will send you a pm.

    hey man,
    saw that you were trying to learn a little bit about how to catch the fish when they are feeding on top. This link should help you out!
    as as has already been posted: a EHC dryfly, and a weighted softhackle tied off underneath (both flies in the size 16-18 range) will slay fish up there. The ehc should probably have a black body, and if you don't have on, the orvis store in norcross has plenty.
