Bill, Hi Barry Bertoldi here. I am the guy with the cabinet shop Chris would park at for duck hunting. Anyway I have a question I didn't want to start on the forum but would like your input. Some friends and I have been fishing below <Morgan falls for stripers.
There is a guy in a kayak that gives us hell about it. he wants to fight everyone. He says we can't use more than one rod in that area because it is a trout area? I called the officer
James Psills and asked that question. He first said that was not right that the rule says only one rod fishing for trout! Then he called back and said no it was right because it was in a trout area. Now I have looked at every rule I can find and they say only one rod when fishing for trout. I don't want to get him mad but sounds like there is no clear rule and it is his opinion. But all we have is the rule book?? How can something like this be resolved without stepping on toes? There are several of us on the same issue. We don't abuse the fishing, release most all fish and only want what is fair. Your input would be great. Again Thanks Barry
Hi Bill, I posted a question some time ago about using a cast net at morgan falls for shad, You or someone told me to call the dnr I did that and they told me they would contact the agent in that area to call me, did not happen. Any new info? Thanks Barry
