Hey ya'll. I don't know if anyone will see this or not, but I haven't been on here at all so I wanted to give you an update in case you were wondering.
I'm in my 3rd semester of college and it's going good. I just registered for Spring 2013 classes. I've just been trying to find balance in my life lately so that I don't get too much of any one thing, mainly school.
I have been doing a lot of things besides fishing. I have not been fishing in a long time....

Ok, so... So far, so good!! I started with a couple of rusty grades in remedial math 0097 & biology 1101, but went from a 67 on my 1st math test to a 100 on my 2nd, and went from a 78 on my 1st biology exam to a 98 on my 2nd.
On my 1st world history 1112 exam I got a 96 +5 points on a curve = 101, and on my 1st major english test(grammer) I got a 96. So overall I would say so far so good. The reason for the grades is I spend my time doing 6 things only, eating, sleeping, driving, sitting...

Started College A Couple Weeks Ago. I started on August 15. I have had little to no time for anything outside of studying & going to class. I am really wanting to go fishing, but my studies come first. I am learning a lot and really enjoying my college experience. Sometimes it is really stressful, and others I just can't help but smile all day.
I'm meeting lots of new people, making friends, and I am enthusiastic about learning new things, and mastering old or familiar topics. Yesterday,...

The other day I hooked the biggest fish of my life. This trout had to be 25"inches, I mean huge, it was surreal. I was ticking the bottom with a split shot 2fly thingamabob rig. I managed to get him up and off the bottom without too much trouble. He thrashed at first and I turned him downstream at which point he began cruising like a big submarine downstream and I followed him for about 20 yards until as if he had just made up his mind to go back home he did an about face 180'degree...

I started fly tying a couple months ago. It's going good. I bought a Danvise for $74, it's the basic rotary vise. I consider it a good quality vise that works well and hasn't let me down. The only thing is I wish the jaws where a little harder steel because i guess I had the jaws too tight on a hook and it made an indention in the jaws, but other than that it's good. I have since been careful not to clamp it down too hard. I've been using mostly small hooks from 12-22, but I tie a lot of smaller...
