Grumpy Bear Campground is where we stayed as well. Launched our boat right from the campsite. We must not have missed you by much. The place is very nice.

I think it is SC that stocked them and yes they are gorgeous. If I ever get around to learning how to post pictures I will post some of them. Got a fat 16"-er last weekend.

Are you wearing them for warmth? If so you may try just keeping a dry towel with you to dry your hands after you get them wet. This works the best for me on cold days.
