Water temp at my place yesterday ( Hogback area ) was 77 at 6pm ( during generation ). No sign of fish whatsoever. This morning it was 74 at 7am ( no generation ). I spoke with 6 fishermen...

Exclamation Toccoa River Watch Thread!

Water temp on the tailwater was 70 degrees at my place yesterday.
I'm a couple of miles below dam... just above railroad trussel. This is not good!

Maybe just hearsay. But if true, definately reason for the class action. Now, after heavy rains, they cut it completely off for a day or two.

Yep

Heard the main culprit was good ole Hemptown ( she still plays havoc with us... even today ).

It didn't help when TVA generated during the flood.

Unfortunately, logic does not apply to the Toccoa when they are generating. It's an awfully nice boat ride, but fishing is tough! Fish and takes are few and far between. Fish just seem to disapear....

Drift boats are wonderful if you guide. Otherwise, you must remember that "the man in the middle doesn't fish much". Also, make sure you teach your friends to row asap.
