Up to about bull pen bridge it is quite similar. Past that the river changes a lot with a lot more cascades and narrow rocky areas and also some stretches of the meandering river we love. There is a trail that roughly follows the river most of the way to Grimshawes bridge. This area actually at certain times of the year is a wonder section to dry fly fish. Have caught a few up to 16" on dries upstream of bull pen .
