Could some of you experienced trout getters look at maybe writing an FAQ for newbies like me? There're a zillion questions I have (like what's a hooch? a toolie? a creel? what's the one fly you wouldn't leave home without? what are some flyfishing no-no's? what time of day are trout least likely to jump on my line? who has the best recipe for campfire cooked trout?)
Anyway, I for one would read such a thing thoroughly in an effort to get up to speed. Thanks, Gerry |

hooch - aka chattapoopie aka chattahoochee(river)
toolie? I have no idea - Toot- Noontootla Creek Creel - fish basket Creel limit - limt per day per person one fly - elk hair caddis, tan # 16 ffing no-no's - don't wade through other people's holes, don't float through other people's holes, don't hog the water form your buddies, don't fall down in posion ivy, don't tell the whole world about every little stream you find, don't think you ever know it all, don't doubt The Ole Man, and never, EVER, doubt the future of NGTO( I seeeeeee BIG things for us in the future! ). ![]() time of day....doesn't usually matter....well, depending on where you're fishing. That one is a bit complex for a post. ![]() best recipe ? I hear it's SuperChub. ( There's a thread on it now somewhere I think!)Owl [This message has been edited by The Owl (edited 06-05-2001).] |
