Anyone think the rain last night messed it up too bad to fish? Gauge is climbing but is only at about 470cfs.
Any help would be great... Nate

You should be ok. Rain is your friend on the 'tooger. My brother was up there last weekend and said the river was getting pretty low- plus a little stain is what you need to get the better fish out and active during the daytime.

It takes more than one night of moderate rain to put that river off. As Finless said, a little stain may actually help.
Enjoy GA's best river now, before the hemlocks die and kayaking starts. G |

I'm going to start using that as my excuse. Water was too low, too clear, trout werent' out. Weather was too nice. Nothing I could do. Mother Nature didn't smile on me that day. Last Saturday.
