Default Saltwater Flies

A little change of pace from my usual patterns. They are not my design the larger ones are a Roy Christie pattern from Clear Cure Goo and the other I can not remember the tyers name. Anyway here are my amateur photography attempts:

Here is the photography style I have been playing around with it is a collae style I learned about in my art appreciation class.

Very nice looking flies and pretty doggone artsy photography.

I'm not clear on the purpose of the rattle lying cattywampus on the fly in the 1st photo. Is it part of the fly or there for some other reason?

Thanks for sharing, Jim

nielson- The rattle on the first fly is a trigger effect. Saltwater shrimp make a clicking noise as they move through the water in distress. The rattle actually sits right down the back and is held into place by the hot glue gun clear coat I applied. I've tried banging it around and it is nice an secure. I had the idea of a popping cork which is used a lot for specks and redfish, and it also employs beats to achieve the clicking noise the shrimp makes... Just a funky variation I was playing around with.

Do you sell these, Rocky?

Mudpuppy- It is not my pattern, but yes I do sell any of the patterns I tie up. It's mainly to friends, unless they raid my box when my back is turned...
