According to the web page, 2008 should see the roadshow in Atlanta. No firm dates, but there is a link that allows you to subscribe to their newsletter which will post dates to the venue closer to the time. This is great news as last year we were skipped! I don't know what you guys think, but AEG produces the most entertaining hardcore fly fishing media out there. The film tour also includes a lot of other great entries, previews of which you can see on the Drake website. Man, this is good news. |

LOD...if you hear anything definite....let a brotha know. This thing usually sells out since it's typically held at smaller venues.

For sure I will let you know..... That day will be a holiday for me. It will start with buying tickets, getting the time off, floating in the morning, chilling out with a Guinness and a coupla movies later. A good day

I wonder if they're back from Mongolia yet? They've been hunting the taimen, which is an obscenely huge salmonid species. I really hope we get them here at the Roxy.

Loopdawg, here is a link to their blogspot. Makes for great reading... But what wouldn't if you were hunting jurassic salmonids in the farthest darkest corners of the globe ?

Paul....thanks for the heads up. I got an email from them a few weeks ago but they didn't have a date for a Georgia show.
I can't believe it's in Athens now. I had heard rumors of the Fox Theater. Like I said before.....I don't do Athens. Last time I was there I had beer poured on me. :-)

I just got through talking to one of the guys last weekend here at the Denver AFFTA Fly fish show and they have a new video out about their Russia trip, Mongolia and a new Patagonia again. Looks to be another good season of films by these guys~

Just to let anyone who was thinking of going know, the event has been canceled. Got a email saying they had negotiation issues with the theater and my money had been refunded. I was really looking forward to it to.
