East Tennesee has a very poor environmental record. Remember the snail darter? That was back in the 70s' when pro environmental people were considered unAmerican, draft dodgers, pot smoking hippies.

As you know there are slim picking for wild places now compaired to then. You younger pro environmental youngsters have got a lot more clout and prestige than the hippies in the 70's. The reason being is "you don't know what you got 'till it's gone". More and more people care and know it's about gone. Hope you can save some of what little is left for you and your family.
