Default JB 2-19

I had a couple of hours to fish at JB after the fishing show. Water was not as clear as I expected. Did it rain up there?

I started with a trout magnet as usual, tried a couple of different colors, but not bite at all. I switched to a white 1.5" tube for fun. I didn't have a jig head, so I put a split shot about 1' above the hook. And, suddenly, I started getting strikes. I landed a 10" bow, and saw another one following the tube later. I don't know if I was getting short strikes (all I had was #10 hooks), but I could not set the hook, so just one rainbow.

I saw so many corn cans. Some were just empty, some still had corn in them. It was one of the worst I've seen (some may say I haven't fished there often enough). Anyways, they should have picked them up after fishing.
