2fly, I can totally relate. About a month and a half ago I out there fishing with fire walker. I had been wet wading around (didn't have waders at the time), and was work toward a nice spot. Then I actually looked at where I was and it was a little nerving racking to say that least. Cause up stream was about 6 ft deep, ahead and down stream where about 8 ft. If I had fallen in to I probably would have gotten washed into the deep water pool right behind the riffles. Definitely learned my lesson about watching where I wade.
Thank you, dear God, for this good life and forgive us if we do not love it enough. Thank you for the rain. And for the chance to wake up in three hours and go fishing: I thank you for that now, because I won't feel so thankful then. - Garrison Keillor

looks like your still trying to fish with your fly line out. It would have been great to hook into a trout at that time, lol.

Funny thing, we have all been there. I tried to rock hop 2 weeks ago on the Toccoa Dh and slammed my face right in the water. THAT was cold!

@Iron Lion, I try not to waste any fishing time! LOL. I figure if the lines not in the water I'm missing out on a possibile fish! LOL. When my vest started moving up around my ears and pushed my hat off I just gave up and floated in the current LOL.
