Default Gladly Guiding Glad on the Soque River

From NGTO supporter and director "Big T":

I have been blessed with numerous trips at Fern Valley lately guiding a number of people including an NGTO celebrity.

I did make my way over to the public section one morning for a half hour and found a number of stocked browns and bows that wanted to play. Only one on a squirmy but somewhere around my limit were caught on an olive woolly bugger in the deeper pockets below the bridge. I did see one around 16" cruising around.

At Fern Valley the fishing has been consistent. Numbers are still good and we have been getting into some nice size fish. While hatches of caddis, bwo, and midges happen frequently I cannot say that the fish have keyed in on anything super specific. If you aren't catching keep changing flies and location. Swifter water have been the more productive areas.

YES I GOT TO GUIDE GLAD!!!!! AND SHE CAN FISH LIKE A CHAMP!

A few more good ones:

And the beast:

If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.
