Or go find a standing dead dogwood tree and strip it down and use that. Dogwood is really resistant to rot. Plus it is cheaper and unique.

My mother would slap me for killing a dogwood tree!! How dare you!

I had a cheap field and stream pole that I really liked the handle on but Iím 6í2Ē 300lbs. One hard fall and it bent like a twig.

I was up at Unicoi outfitters today and hooked up on a simms staff. I like how it operates, the beefy carbide tip and it adjusts significantly longer than your average Walmart hiking pole. easy adjustment. If I take more more smack to my left knee I will need surgery. I figure this is a safety issue and the wife actually agreed!! Happy birthday to me.

Fished with Big T at the Dam today.

He was using this one and it worked great!

Very sturdy and great price!
