Default Ahhh Oxygen

That must be what the fish were saying today. The lake is turning over, the river getting clearer, which means oxygen levels high on the scale.

How can you tell? Feeding fish sitting in heavy currents to maximize food opportunities. On the far northern end of the tailwater it is time to find fast water with obstructions. The trout will sit behind and in front of boulders and logs in the fast stuff darting out to feed. They should continue to opportunistic feeders for a while but as midge hatches increase and water clarity continues to improve the trout will most likely become selective.

Good to know! Thanks!
Hi my name is Charles and I'm a fishaholic.

Some days I'm the hook and some days I'm the fish.

I was real happy with the clarity up there Sunday.
The fish seemed to like it as well.
