Default 2017 year end review

2017 did not disappoint and a lot of fishing was done. A good variety was caught and some real good fish brought to hand.
Striper fishing no doubt started my year out and consumed most of my trips. And my continual streak stays alive of a striper every month on the fly for 3 years running now.

Both new and old friends were fished with.

And lots of different species caught.

My first grass carp!

Many common carp.

A lot of bass.

And yes, even some trout trips were made.

So here is to the end of another GREAT year and to the hopes and adventures of what 2018 may bring!

Great stuff, 36 months is a pretty good streak.
Just flipped my calendar over. I don't keep a log but I mark on the calendar where I fished on a particular day. I had a goal of 150 days for 2017 with at least an hour on the water ended up with 145. All targeting trout, so my species were brown, brook, rainbow, chub, shiner, and sucker. Planning to add a couple of species for 2018.

I went Wednesday this week with temps of 24 -36. We boated 2 spots but no stripes. No pics but if there were we were definitely layered up!
