Default Thinking Fast and Slow

There is a book by the author Daniel Kahneman called “Thinking Fast and Slow”. I would recommend reading it. A second book, “Fooled by Randomness” by Nassim Nicholas Taleb also ranks way up there in my estimation. They have to do with how we think wrong about so many things, especially probability. We can’t avoid these errors of cognition, since we are all human, but knowing about them can help us in recognizing them, especially when we make the effort to challenge our conclusions or others.
