Thumbs up Learn to Fly Fish!

Enrollment is now open for
The Pisgah TU 2018 Flyfishing School.
Getting started as a flyfisher can be a challenge, but it doesn't have to be. The 2018 Pisgah TU Flyfishing School is set for April 28, 2018 at Harmon Field in Tryon, NC!

If you were at last night's Pisgah TU meeting, you heard school coordinator Carole Deddy's talk about the initial program for this year's school, which looks to be bigger and better than ever.

Instruction: Like our other annual schools before, the 2018 school s a solid day of combined classroom and hands-on instruction planned for the inexperienced angler with only two goals in mind: making you a better, more confident and more successful flyfisher; and making the time you spend on the water more enjoyable and productive.

Mentored Fishing: Along with a day packed with useful information and tips, you'll receive a 1/2 day of "mentored" fishing. A Pisgah TU member will make a date to join you on one of our area streams for a half day, to help you put all that learning to real experience on the water.

Course Guidebook: Over the 20+ years the school has been presented, we've built up an original course guidebook, specific to the things you'll learn in the school and to fishing for trout in western North Carolina. We've updated it again this year, and it's bigger and better than ever and it's exclusive: the only way to get your hands on a copy is by attending the school.
