Default Hood Pond

Just returned home after a couple weeks on the road and I was itching to hit the pond..Based on my last time out, when I hooked-up with a roughly 5lb carp (on my 4wt.), I decided to string up my 8wt..Using a similar streamer/bucktail that enticed the carp, I was able to bring this spot to hand..Not terribly big, but very feisty.. It sure was nice having a bend in the rod again..

Nice!

That’s kind of crazy you have spots in that pond. That is surely looks like a spot from the looks of it though. Never seen one in a smaller pond. Usually only in deep clear impoundments. Very cool!
