Default A trip to Brown Town (PIC HEAVY)

Made it out to the tailwater today and it is quite obvious that they have stocked a ton of browns recently. I had a 3 hour gap between releases to fish and ended with 25. Of those 25...........24 were browns! I caught one small rainbow who somehow got to the fly before one of the browns did.

Had to retire the fly after the browns destroyed it!

Lumis - look through the Fly tying threads to see what the fly looked liked before all those browns mauled it.

Love the browns, but the question everyone wants an answer to is...what kind of watch do you wear????

Looking good Kevin. Nice work. Need to get back up there soon.

Actually it's a seiko kinetic and waterproof. It was my divorce present to myself over 12 years ago which means its lasted almost twice as long as the marriage did!! lmao

When our stuff outlasts our marriages we gotta know we are onto something good....hmmmm how old are some of my fly rods?? I know of one that my brother built for me in 1994. Sage RPL 690. It is still younger than my marriage, which is still alive.
