Default Another creek and another gorgeous speck

Spent last Saturday working a creek that has been on my list for some time. I was very fortunate to get a couple strikes early which kept me motivated through the thick jungle which surrounded the creek. Fishing was tough, missed a few and spooked a real nice one. When I thought all was lost, I slid down the hill side to a nice little shaded run. I crossed the creek a little further down from the run I thought might hold fish. Got on my knees and flicked one of my favorite dry patterns up into the glide. Right as my fly was about to drop off a little fall a nice fish took it ever so delicately. He put a nice bend in the glass and managed to net him fairly quickly as I kept him in the water the whole time. I fished about half of the creek so I will be making a trip back up to finish off the rest at a later date, maybe even bring ol Cane Break with me.

That's a beauty!
Hi my name is Charles and I'm a fishaholic.

Some days I'm the hook and some days I'm the fish.
