Default Last trip of the season - pay dirt

I have not had a good year at Dukes creek this year. Ive been about 5 times and not caught anything over 12. Skipped work today to see if I could walk on and finally got what I was looking for. This guys was about 24 caught on a black bugger at the section 3/4 waterfall. Lots of fun trying to keep him off the big logs now in this spot. I can now rest easy for the summer. I sure hope no one I work with is in this forum...IMG_2404.jpg

Why is this your last trip of the season? Water temps are food right now,and so is the fishing. Come on back! If Dukes closes again for the season, there are about 100 other streams you can fish nearby with plenty of fish, both stocked and wild. Come on back up!
