Got out mid-week and found a flat that didn't require me to take a number.

Was going to try a lake this weekend but rare better sense prevailed.

Excellent. Big fat fish those are.

Glad good sense prevailed. I stepped out on the back porch around 5 pm, thermometer read 104 in the shade. I said "forget this". First time I've ever cancelled fishing due to heat.

I thought you were going to worry some gar? I was going to salvage the day by heading to a local pond until I stepped outside at 6 pm and it still was over 100.
