Default Lovinggood creek workday is this Saturday July 14th

Just a reminder. The Lovinggood creek workday is this Saturday July 14th. This is also a great way to get your kids involved with TU! If you haven't signed up yet, don't tarry!
Gold Rush TU is the lead chapter responsible for this project. Both the Chattahoochee Nantahala Chapter and the Tailwater chapter are support chapters. Goldrush chapter will be providing lunch!

This is an ongoing project that is really beneficial to the further recovery and improvement of the creek structures and banks! As a supporting chapter we need to make a good showing. The workday begins at 9:00AM. And will finish at noon. Bring your fishing gear! There are a bunch of great streams nearby along with Lovvingood Creek! To register, so they have a head count, use this link http://goldrushtu.org/event-sign-up/!
For directions visit. http://goldrushtu.org/wp-content/upl...Restaurant.pdf

If you've ever noticed a timber structure in a creek, and wondered how and why it got there, this is your golden opportunity!

Meet experienced folks, have access to trout biologists, get wet and muddy, AND get a free lunch!

Kids as young as 7 or 8 can fit right in. And, I guarantee they'll remember the day.

I would like to thank the more than 50 awesome volunteers from four different TU Chapters who showed up at Lovinggood Creek yesterday (July 14th) to help restore this beautiful little stream and to improve its habitat. The trout that inhabit this stream will benefit greatly.

Thanks to Gold Rush, Blue Ridge, Cohutta and Tailwater Chapters.

Agreed, but for the time being that's not an option: However, you can rate it at the top. I rated it 5 stars. LOL
