Default Sunday afternoon natives

My buddy Brandon from Alpharetta outfitters and I decided to go do some bluelining this afternoon.

After a little drive and some downhill bushwhacking we made it into the little stream. The first cast produced a strike and a fish and we continued to catch fish all through the stream. All the fish were being caught on dries and after awhile I decided to have some fun and tied on a black wooly bugger and caught quite a few jigging the bugger through likely spots. One really cool thing that happened was were able to sight fish to a couple specks that were actively eating on the surface.

It was a great day to be out in the mountains! I hope some of you guys were able to get out on the small streams this weekend.

Love those fish. I do not think there is a better looking fish in Georgia whether fresh or salt water.
