Interesting! It is a rare occasion to see one of Bill's rods come up on Satan's Flea Market. Every now and them, someone will try and sell a class rod as a rod built by Bill, but this one was definitely built by the man. This is an earlier Oyster 1.0 rod (meaning pre-Blue Ridge). The short rod taper may limit the number of bids this gem gets; someone could get a very good deal.

If I ever get the opportunity to take Bill's class and make my own rod under his guidance, you can bet your patootie it's going to be worth more that $600 bucks to me!
