Default Gerard landing to island ford float

He fellas,

I let a buddy talk me into a float tube trip from Gerard landing to island ford tomorrow. Any idea of how long thatís going to take? Any tips would be appreciated as itís my first time down that section.

Default Gerard landing to island ford float

This may help. As a guess, 6 hours and perhaps longer. The two landings are 6 miles apart.

ETA: and of course call the Dam to determine release schedules.

It will probably take you 4-6hrs depending on how often you stop and fish holes. Good mix of frog water and shoals. Do not enter the river from the boat ramp. It is chocked full of mud. Good luck!
