Default A first

Took my son out today for a little over an hour. We moved past the crowds and I was able to be hands off for the first time. Simply pointed to an area for him to fish and he caught his first trout on the fly without any assistance from Dad.

He doesn't share the passion I have but enjoys going as long as I keep the trips short!

Tight Lines!

That's awesome. I can't wait till my 5 yo gets self sufficient enough to make our little fly fishing trips more enjoyable for me.
Hi my name is Charles and I'm a fishaholic.

Some days I'm the hook and some days I'm the fish.

Holy crap...that kid fit into your waders.
Our enemies are those in league with imperialism- the warlords, the bureaucrats, the comprador class and the reactionary section of the intelligentsia attached to them. The leading force in our revolution is the industrial proletariat. Our closest friends are the entire semi-proletariat and petty bourgeoisie. As for the vacillating middle bourgeoisie, the left wing may become our enemies, and their right wing may become our friend. Our enemies are all around us. We must always be on our guard.

The passion will come.

Gout, T's offspring (mini squatch) is about as tall as me. Better sign him up for basketball, quarterback, or something.

Drink in every moment, Dad. As a father of a 21 year old, let me tell you what others surely have already-- They grow up too fast and you'll have a different lonely life when they're gone.

Catches more than I do. Its been so long since I trout fished that my reels and rods are just decorations.

Then burn the entire ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.
